What's priority, relationship or baby???

What's priority, relationship or baby??? That was a question I had to find an answer, and the logic one for everybody is "both". But, how to balance u new life as a mom and as a wife?? www.parents.com says something very true: No money, no sex, and no time. This isn't how you pictured parenthood with the man you love.
I was in a mission, and still are, on how to make it work. It is hard and I'm asking for anyone here to give their insight about this topic.
So far I found out that babies need attention, so do men, [probably more than babies]. How to extend the time to breast feed, clean, cook, laundry, take care of yourself, husband and baby, and so on is very tiring to even think about it, and add to the mix 2 dogs and 2 cats. Everyday there is a new challenge u have to deal with and the outcome it depends on u mood more than logic [after baby mood is usually not so good].
Here some of the things I deal with every day:
Sleep deprivation
Different opinions about parenting with my husband.
Lack of intimacy
Double load of responsibilities/chores.
Among others... It is always good to talk to someone that has gone through the same situation since this things can be overwhelming, like a friend, mother or even online on a parenting forum, take advices, apply them according to u situation and try to get through the day with no less than a B, it is hard but not impossible.

Work........Home,,,,, Working from home...

What a problem!!!! Now that I have my baby I just don't want to go back to work, I want to spend every second of every minute with my lil one, but unfortunately money is tight and with one income coming in is very difficult to keep up with the responsibilities we have, plus the ones that come alone with a baby. I need to work, that's reality. Here is the question, back to my old one, look for a new one, or work from home. The last one is more appealing to me because will give me the chance to be with my baby plus to bring income in. So I started an adventure looking for that job that will make my dream come true, be with my baby while making some money. I though it was going to be easy and looking I found flexible works that will allow me to stay home. But, for my surprise, the ones that I like require more academic preparation that what I have right now (don't get me wrong, I have a bachelor in Business). so I kept looking and found a wide variety of what to do from home. Here some picks:
**Income Tax Prepare, no major required but the knowledge of current tax law and you can do that by taking a course in H&R Block and beign certify as an income tax prerared by the IRS.
**Etsy Ebay Amazon where individuals can sell their wares online, from candles to clothes to furniture.
**Create you own blog and get advertisers, they will pay you for it.
among others.
I'm doing the last one writing about my new life as a mom. Be aware of scams, there are so many that is very easy to be fool.
Forbes recommends to follow these steps:
1. Do some self-reflection and think about what you actually want to DO as a work-at-home mom.
2. Think about how much time you want to devote to a work-at-home job.
3. Once you figure out the career areas you’d like to focus on, it’s time to do some research.
4. Seek the support of fellow working moms.
5. Be aware of scams.
 6. When you apply to jobs, focus on your skills and abilities and what you can offer the company

This article is very helpful on how to succed working from home and I'm very exited to see what i can do to make my dream of having the perfect job all from home come true.

If you, like me, are a mom looking or already working from home please share you experience.
Thanks for reading.
Plz share..

Letting yourself go after pregnancy.

Before and after having a baby you life goes upside down, hormones, fixing everything to fit the new member of the family, weight gain, fisical apperance, all of that and more can be very overwhelmowing. But, how can you get back in track and put aside those flip flops and bathrobe and get into tiptop shape?? Easy, put  u mind into it. First is first, loosing the extra weight. Make part of you routing healthy meals and exercising. Exercising doesn't have to be in a gym or doings quash all the time, you can integrate exercises while cleaning you house, or even with you baby as a partner. Here some tips of exercises while cleaning. Keep in mind that the recovery after having a baby is slow, do not rush you body while this can present problems for you like vaginal bleeding. Here do's and don'ts on how to loose you extra weight after pregnancy.
But not only the weight loss part can lift you spirit, you can also get a makeover, cut you hair into a new style, use makeup if you, like me, have melasma. Do you nails, and for this you dont need to go to manicurist every week, you can do it yourself too so it last longer. Buy a new dress or whatever is in at the moment so you don't feel behind. Here is my friend blog on what's in and how to wear it.

At the end you are the only one that can avoid letting yourself go after pregnancy, is up to you to make it happen.

Ps: A girls night out wont hurt either, lol,,,,

Naming the new member of you family....

For us, naming our newborn was very challenging since my husbands family tradition involves naming the first girl or boy after the paternal grand parents. The Challenge? I didn't like their names. That is the plain true. But, how to make it work??? We made a deal, if it was a boy it was his way, if it was a girl then it was mine. And a girl it was!!!
Here are some things to keep in mind when choosing the name for you baby as we found it on babycenter.com:
The bottom line?? If you love it, it is probably that you bundle of joy will too. Don't let others get you down because of what you have picked, no one needs to be please but you and you partnert, after all, that is you baby. Find inspiration in meanings, say it out loud, and if you are going for unique, please don't name it after a fruit like appel or coco.
