The real deal, very first birthday of baby and mother.

Birthday is a celebration and, when is the first one of you lil bundle of joy, it must be celebrated double because you made it thought that first year as a mother without having a booklet on how to do things that are completely new for you, socongrats to us, new moms in the making.

It's a year!!!

Oh my... Already a year.
As I posted before, I was planing my lil one birthday and the day came and went in a blink of an eye. It was amazing to see how my lil girl enjoyed everything, from clowns to food to going from arms to arms. God bless u my lil angel, mommy and daddy love u!!

FIFA World Cup 2014, home made baby shirt...

Since i couldn't find a shirt, on time, for my Lil one, i decided to make one myself. All u need is a T-Shirt transfer paper, a printer with good ink, a shirt of u choice, scissors, and probably a computer to, either to design what u want or just print what u already have. Here is the result.

1st Year is here!!

Preparing for any occasion that matters to u is like a puzzle. U need to figure so many thing out that sometimes is over warming.
In this case, my baby's 1st birthday party.
What is suppose to be a fun simple party for kids to share with my baby, has become a kind of a nightmare since is not as small as u expect. Let's see the  to do list  on a budget:

-Cake
-Favors
-Decoration/theme
-Food (making sure they do not harm any moms kid that might be allergic to anything from fish to nuts, etc..)
-Dress (es)/ Outfit
-Space where is going to be celebrated (back yard, restaurant, park, club)
-Sitting
-Invitations (choosing who is coming is very important, the list might go on, but I decided to narrow it down to friends with kids)
-Activities/entertaintment (Games, clown, etc..)
-Piñata ( yes, it is very important there is one, is fun to rip it of)
-Buy supplies u might need besides food, like plates, spoons, cups, etc.
-Photos/videos!!! One of the most important things, since all the hard work of that day u want to enjoy for ever.

Who said preparing a 1st year old birthday party is not like preparing a wedding, ;-0

Make sure u start a couple of weeks before and figure how much u want to spend. Also starting ahead of time will give u space to do thing by yourself to help that budget.

Second time is a charm????

I did not know that starting a new face in my live it was going to be such a beautiful ride. Motherhood.
Yes u don't sleep anymore, yes u only worry about that lil person and forget that u exist sometimes. But a smile, a new milestone conquered from that lil one makes it all worth it. So worth it to the point of thinking of having my second one ASAP. Lots of reason why. Lets see:

-Am already not sleeping, so if I wait that means longer years of no sleeping.
-House is already taken over by my sweetheart, so I might as well share it with someone that will enjoy as much as she does.
-They'll grow together, learning new things, fighting and smiling with someone next to u is more fun.
-Sure I'll not get the same amount of gifts for the second one, but the excitement is the same as the first, so yes, I'll make a baby shower for any of my babies just to celebrate their arrival.

So don't be surprise if my next post gives the good news.

Hobbies for mommies!!

I have found myself with some time to spear in between my baby's naps. You would think I'll be napping as well, but the truth is that I can't sleep during the day. So, what do I do? Besides looking for ways to help income not to stop coming in (which is no hobby but a necessity), I take pictures and read, and lately, the last one is like a lot! From baby develop to romance novelties. Is it bad to find
a hobby other than make you baby smile??? I don't think so, it gives me time to stop thinking about problems that we all have, and a break from routine.

Here somethings I particularly like, don't do all of them, but some are very relaxing and fulfilling :

• Read (Wattpad is a good application)
• Crafts
• Play with my baby and dogs
• Painting
• Sports, specially Volleyball
• Exercise, yoga will bring you to a relaxing mode, very difficult to achieve with an infant, but u can make time in between naps.
• Photography (Nature and people are my favorites)

 Among others, it depends on what u like to do.

The truth is, there are so many things u can do to make u life a lil bit happier. Chores and diappers and all resposibilities that comes to keep a household clean and debt free just give u headaches, and a distraction makes it easy to go away, at least for a couple of minutes.

Thanks to everyone that has taken their time to pass by and read my posts. 2013 has been a bless,the biggest one ever in our life, and we are just happy to start 2014 with hope, positivism, and ready to overcome any test our lord may send to us.
