Preparing for any occasion that matters to u is like a puzzle. U need to figure so many thing out that sometimes is over warming.
In this case, my baby's 1st birthday party.
What is suppose to be a fun simple party for kids to share with my baby, has become a kind of a nightmare since is not as small as u expect. Let's see the to do list on a budget:
-Cake
-Favors
-Decoration/theme
-Food (making sure they do not harm any moms kid that might be allergic to anything from fish to nuts, etc..)
-Dress (es)/ Outfit
-Space where is going to be celebrated (back yard, restaurant, park, club)
-Sitting
-Invitations (choosing who is coming is very important, the list might go on, but I decided to narrow it down to friends with kids)
-Activities/entertaintment (Games, clown, etc..)
-Piñata ( yes, it is very important there is one, is fun to rip it of)
-Buy supplies u might need besides food, like plates, spoons, cups, etc.
-Photos/videos!!! One of the most important things, since all the hard work of that day u want to enjoy for ever.
Who said preparing a 1st year old birthday party is not like preparing a wedding, ;-0
Make sure u start a couple of weeks before and figure how much u want to spend. Also starting ahead of time will give u space to do thing by yourself to help that budget.
